I just spent a great weekend at my aunt and uncle's in Milwaukee, talking about life. But all I can say about today is that it's too darn hot!

My 1st Post!

Hi! Welcome to my blog! This is my first post ever, and it is also a big step for me into the technological world. I am currently not too computer savvy, but I hope to change that starting with this blog and with the New Media study abroad program I'm going on this fall. I'm certain I'll learn a lot. Or, if nothing else, I'll have a lot to see and do for 10 weeks!

This is a very weird feeling, knowing that other people will be able to read what I'm writing right now. At least, that's assuming the kind public wants to read about my little adventures. Weird. Hopefully this'll be interesting for me and whoever else decides to check it out. Ooo, one exciting thing I did today was download iTunes. I know I know, a little behind the times. Now I know why everyone else has it. It's awesome! It even has music by Selif Keita (a Malian musician everyone should hear; inspiring and beautiful music).
